hospital, with senior consultants for almost all the fields
of medicine.
Payment
Procedure
The International Community includes foreign nationals
(tourists or temporary residents) staying in Nepal. The patients
of this category pay service charges as per List ‘A’ (revised
rates for 2003).
Contact
Person
The patients may contact the Special/International
Clinic as their starting point in the hospital. Our international
clinic is open from 9:30am-5:00pm, under the supervision of
Sister Sharda Shakhya. Following are the various personnel
who may be contacted by the patients either personally while
visiting the hospital, or by phone.

 Insurance
Policy As per the hospital’s policy we encourage
our patients to pay the hospital upfront and the hospital
then provides the necessary documents to the patients for
them to claim their insurance. This procedure benefits the
patient from having to pay any extra service charge (for
insurance dealings) to the hospital. This policy maybe reconsidered
in special cases.
Deposit
Due to security reasons it is necessary for the hospital
to ask for a deposit from the patient/patient party when
the patient is being admitted to the hospital
House
Calls
OM Hospital does not encourage house calls, mainly due to
the fact that the necessary equipment required for treatment
may not be available. If it is necessary then we can ask our
Medical Officers to pay a visit.
Health
Packages
OM Hospital & Research Centre (P) Ltd. also offers various
Health Packages for pre-employment Check- Up, General Health
Check-Up and Dental Check- Up. The contact person is Sister
Sharda at the International Clinic. These Health Check-Up
packages are usually done by prior appointments only. The
patient should bring samples of his urine and stool and be
on an empty stomach.

Oral Health Package
OM Hospital has an excellent Dental Clinic
with a dedicated team of workers under the guidance of Dr.
Harish Joshi.
The services of the surgeon
are:
- General Check up· Filling (with all
kind of materials)
- Extraction (complicated and simple)
- Root canal treatment
- Crown And Bridge treatment (removable prosthesis)
- Scaling.
The hospital
has devised an oral health package, which consists of the
following services:
- General Check up
- Scaling
- Filling (for one tooth)
- Simple extraction (for one tooth)
- The first visit after 6 months of undertaking
the package will be free.
- Our Dental surgeon can also advice and
arrange for the services of an Orthodontist.
